40 Days to a DIY Website

If you’ve always wanted your own website, this is the place to start. In this 10-day course, you’ll develop a strategy to create a successful website and learn the basics of designing it using WordPress — no code required.

In The DIY Website Course, you’ll learn how to register a domain, get hosting for your website, install WordPress, and use it effectively. The course begins with a big-picture strategy to help you determine the purpose and function of your site. It then focuses on helping you iron out details like content. It’s more than just a WordPress nuts-and-bolts tutorial; it’s a comprehensive strategy for designing the perfect website.

The Basic package gives you access to all ten courses via email. Each morning for 10 days, you’ll receive an email with a video and instructions for that day’s tasks. The Enhanced package gives you access to the course and also includes one year of hosting and domain registration*. The Ultimate package includes access to the course, one year of hosting and domain registration, and a custom logo**.

All three packages also include access to an exclusive private Facebook group. In this group, you can interact with the instructor and other WordPress website owners, allowing you to ask questions and gather ideas from others.

* Hosting and registration package is the 1&1 Managed WP Basic package from 1and1.com.
** Logo design is provided by Scott Cuzzo Illustration and Design and includes 2 logo concepts and 3 revisions.
